Oh, Twilight Princess. Yeah, it's pretty good. I actually thought the graphics and art were much better than some people give them credit. There's a lot of ugly brown and gray, and it won't age nearly as well as Wind Waker's graphics (that goes without saying), but they're pretty stylized and not "realistic" like a lot of people say.

Still, hated the linearity and empty as fuck overworld. Dungeon design was fantastic, which is good since the whole game is pretty much a string of dungeons.

The Gamecube had very underrated hardware.  The best looking GC games have effects that are on par with the Xbox's.

Most GC exclusives had high framerates as well and didn't suffer from the PS2's image quality problems.

With regards to TP, I played about 40% of it and enjoyed it a lot.  I guess part of it was due to the fact that I didn't spend much time with Ocarina of Time so it felt more fresh to me.

The game sure took a long time to get going though.  I would really like to beat it but Zelda games are so terrible at keeping tracking of what you've done and what you need to do next.

Framerate in TP goes to shit in Hyrule Town. Especially in Twilight Hyrule Town. Other than that it is rock solid as in Wind Waker.

God I don't want this game to end :(

The WII version didn't have this problem, even in widescreen.  I guess that gives the WII version some validation as being more than just the GC version with waggle.

Lake Hylia is beautiful. I do prefer Wind Waker over Twilight Princess overall (even with all its flaws) because of its art direction and atmosphere.

Twilight Princess, did however, have incredible dungeon design -- arguably the best in any 3D Zelda.

If you want to see something REALLY awesome, go find the Fishing Hole. Beautiful, especially at morning and evening when the sun is just right and everything is glowing and there's mist over the lake.

Go in and out of the front door to change the seasons. Spring has beautiful cherry blossoms floating in the wind and blooming yellow and white flowers; summer has bright green grass and lily pads; fall has autumn leaves; winter has a hazy sky, the grass and dirt are pale (but not covered in snow), and when the sun is out everything reflects brightly.

Easily one of the most beautiful areas in the game; beats a lot of places in the Twilight Realm, despite the BLOOOOOOOOOOOM everywhere.

Twilight Princess>Ocarina of Time :bow

Heh, not for me. I enjoyed Ocarina much more. The game had a better Hyrule (it was so much fun to explore), better music, better characters (SARIA), and a better story. Sheik was so fucking awesome.

Twilight Princess had better dungeons, I'll give it that. Twilight Princess is still a good sequel.

How can OoT have a better Hyrule when it was only like a fifth of TP's Hyrule?

TP's Hyrule has waaaaayyy more to explore.

I guess I can give you music, characters, and story, though.

lol. For such a large overworld, it felt so barren and ugly. It was a fucking chore to travel through. The towns were placed in such awkward and clumsy locations. I was so glad when I got the ability to warp.

I'd rather explore a smaller cleverly designed world than an unattractive, complicated area that also happens to be five times larger in size.

Dude, the too many temples is one of the best things about the game, and one aspect that automatically makes it better than most of its predecessors.

Jaggies drove me crazy. Never finished it. Probably will replay it on an SD tv or something

you will foul your little knickers with terror and delight when you get to the arbiter's dungeon (the 4th one in the desert).

Prole is on the right track, but the worst boss is obviously the final boss at Goron Mines.  So fucking stupid and easy.

I mean, they're all mostly easy, but at least from Arbiter's Grounds on, they get a bit mroe creative.

Bah! I was trying to think of any bosses I liked less than the Water boss. But actually, for the most part, all the bosses in the game are pretty consistent. TP has the coolest bosses in the series, I think.

The sky temple boss is one of the best bosses in the entire series until you realize that it poses no challenge whatsoever, either in the examination phase or the combat.

Yeah, I should have mentioned they're all pretty dang easy for the most part, but still cool nonetheless.
