Alias Season Three (get in here, MAF)

Allright, wtf happened here?

I'm all for time jumps if they're done right (see: end of BSG season 2), but this one just seems distinguished mentally-challenged.

Without spoilering me, do we ever get back to the plot points that were developing in season 2 (Sydney's relation to the apocalypse, Derevko's master plan, Sloan's master plan, what Rimbaldi's device really did, what the message Sloan got from David Carridine in the Himalayas said)

I'm three or four episodes in, and so far I'm getting this disturbing vibe that the producers just said "shit, we don't really know where we're going with this, time for a reboot with TOTALLY different plot points.  Let's hope the viewers still give a damn".

'Cause if Rimbaldi's device really just said "yo, peace out" to Sloane, I'm gonna be smashing something.

S5 is also a short season. I think Season 4 could have been a good 'last season' but 5 answered some questions and ended some rivalries. Plus the blonde in 5 > blonde in 3

Its not that they didnt know where they were going, they just write that way. Thats JJ's work in a nutshell.
