I have so much to play, but they're all being ignored for Ikaruga. Motherfuckers on EB disrespected my score and took my top spot yesterday.

Maybe I'll open up Assassin's Creed and DMC4 this weekend.

the tiny-ass, claustrophobic levels in Invisible war ruin everything, and the rudimentary, over-the-top Unreal Warfare lighting on shiny environments maximizes that effect, plus most of the character dialogue is unbelievably stupid

anyhow I'm playing Ikaruga 360, along with the original Shin Megami Tensei, I'm close to the end

Yeah I can see all its flaws but it still is interesting.

Can't imagine how this monster was running on a puny Xbox though. It must have been chugging @ 10 fpses there.

I don't remember it running very badly on Xbox, but I couldn't stand staring at that damn Hollywood metrosexual of a protagonist, instead of J.C. Denton

that's exactly how it was, the game felt and looked like a crappy sci-fi cable miniseries instead of a smart shooter

also, it's dumb of them to have went out of their way to create a stupid UI with big-ass commands and logos, when the one in the PS2 port of Deus Ex was already perfect, easy to use, without feeling dumbed down at all in comparison to the PC original... that's the system which Deus Ex 3 should use

onslaught means warfare, which is hard going right off the bat. Have you picked out a second mastery?

If you are having problems with getting hit early, dodge attack is low in warfare and works pretty well IMO.

Puzzle Quest, and struggling to deal with my noobishness in DMC4, cant S rank mission 5 on Human

The game just doesnt give you enough time to get an S-rank on orbs and time, so Im trying to take it home with stylish points, but Im still not that good. I am geting better though and am getting quite handy with exceed moves... should I be playing Automatic? Is that cheating?

I don't think Automatic is cheating, only the purists do

All Automatic does is randomly rev your sword, big whoop

I like automatic as it charges your charge shot for you also, but dont think it gives you total control of what moves youre doing.... sometimes when you just push Y with no input from RB ans LS the game will randomly do a streak or high roller
