It's shifting from the circa-1988 W-body platform to Epsilon 2, the new version of the platform that underpins the A-grade Malibu, but will first be seen in the Opel Insignia/Saturn Aura:

This car's exterior was designed by Buick China (the concept car is being unveiled at Shanghai Motor Show) and the platform is from Europe.

Buick's been a quality leader for years btw, not sure what you mean by crappy.

Outside of the tail lights, I'm not seeing it. Oh, and maybe the taper to the headlight. Almost every manufacture follows BMW anywho, the car looks pretty damn unique outside of those elements.

Hood looks like the newer Infinitis, but these cars were designed at the same time so.

I've tuned into it on Youtube now and then but I don't watch a lot of TV. I wind up hearing about the more interesting features from my friend, who's become addicted.

I didn't like BMW's styling when they first started with the flame surfacing kick, but it's really grown on me since then. Just in time for them to throw it to the curb

Their 7 series concept looks stunning though.

Looks better in person.

I can actually see more Aura in that than any current BMW, but the Aura/Insignia's concept came first.

CLS and C are way different btw lol. I guess you mean the Buick with the CLS, since the Buick concept is supposed to be one of those gay sedan-coupes too. But the production version will be a normal sedan.
