Does Geoff Keighly actually play games?

I listened to him on 1UP yours just now, I don't think he is an actual gamer.  He really had zero input and every comment he made was like he was an outsider that knows a bit about current games and trends.  But he didn't come across as someone who is actually passionate about games, at all.

I get the impression he is pretty much a talking head.  He needed a teleprompter methinks..

At least N'Gai actually has thoughts and opinions about the topics being discussed.

He seemed very out of place on the podcast.

I don't know. He said he has roots in testing Sierra adventure games as a teenager, which sounds pretty "hardcore" to me.

I wonder the same thing about N'Gai.
