Yes, Ryu looks a lot better now. His face has been fixed and now he looks even more like the Ryu we know and love. Chun Li also got a major facelift. I read an interview where the art director said he spends so much time making Chun Li look good in this game. He wasn't lying. C.Viper looks the same as before but Chun Li looks way better than her because of added detail.

While this video is much better than the one in the OP (which is lol-tastic) the animation is still off. Zangief walking around=wtf

Dogging SF4 is fun and easy, but I think I'm about over it. Everyone seems to forget just how awful SF3 *ahem* "3" was handled. Remember the awful cabinet they snuck out without almost any fanfare? Remember the initial roster? Remember how much everyone complained? Even among the hardcore, most people hated SF3 until 3rd Strike.

I think I've come to the point where I'm just going to give the game a pass. I'm expecting SF-EX quality, and if it ends up better, then great.

Let me tell you guys what an awesome new fighter is: Basara X.  Yes, Arc made it, but it's got Capcom's name on it.     The game just came out in arcades here and has the best art I have ever seen from Arc System Works...much better than Guilty Gear and with improved animation, PLUS the backgrounds don't seem lifeless.    It's also not floaty like GG and is more grounded; it's almost like a slightly-faster paced take on Last Blade.  It's awesome.

I don't hate it, I'm just finding myself kind of unexcited recently, particularly after SNK dropped the KOF XII bombshell (it's the kind of game everyone wanted SF4 to be).  It still looks too much like classic SF2 gone "3D," and none of the four new characters revealed are particularly exciting.  I am looking forward to trying El Fuego though, since lucha libre characters usually rock.
