now if he was, and it was genuine, then that would be cool for me.

erm one of the main points is that he isn't from the country. He bashes jews while speaking HEBREW, he isn't even attempting to fit in what a Kazakh is.


While it's fine to dislike it, it seems you don't comprehend the "point" of Borat.

Borat to me, the way he talks etc just comes to much off as an act. From my perspective, you'd have to be really not paying attention to not figure out quickly it's fake.

Eh, some of his stuff I find absolutely hilarious.  When I'm watching some of his stuff, I'm glad it's on Youtube so I can just close out the window quickly.  Ranges from absolutely horrible to absolutely hilarious.

Different strokes for different folks, but ALOT of people seem to find him funny. Guess it just isn't up your alley, no big deal. Just don't TALK SHIT about it without seeing the movie in question like SOME posters have been doing, and not liking him is more than acceptable.
