mine was ska shows, raves, punk shows and working horrible jobs to pay for the aforementioned stuff

man if we had broadband back then i wouldn't have spent all that money on music

with occasional class attendance.

When I was in HS I used to go hang out at the local ice skating rink with all my friends, trying to pick up girls. I actually managed to get some #s this way! In college I went to quite a number of raves and parties (the first DJ I ever saw was Frankie Bones), I used to hang out with some raver chick I met online. That was awesome, I wish they still had massive parties like they did back then, fuck the government and the R.A.V.E. act :usacry

Why is my school tearing up the great lawn just a few weeks before graduation? There are muddy holes all over the place.

Expanding on lyte edge's point:

My parents both met and started dating in 8th grade.  They've been married for 30 years.  Happily!

I love stories like this. =D

I vowed to never set foot in that high school ever again, and have kept that promise true since 1999.  The last time I drove by it, they were using half of the student parking lot to keep new cars and trucks from a nearby car dealership.  Poor kids.   :lol

Enjoy your final high school days-- college is awesome.  I'd suggest going straight to Belmont--jump right in and don't look back.  Transferring is awkward--everyone has already had the experience of starting fresh and have formed their circles of friends, so you'll have a harder time fitting in.  If you go straight there, everyone you meet will be in the same boat and you'll make a ton of new friends just in the first few days.

And to top it off, I think I've fallen for a girl at the worst possible fucking time in my life so far.  She's like, perfect.  And she might be going to a school near Akron...and I hate that that's actually swaying my decision.

DON'T let this affect your decision.  I know how hard that probably is for you but trust me (and the millions of people who would back me up on this), when both of you get to school you'll meet tons of people and change a lot.  It'll be over within a semester or two and you'll be pissed that you wasted time on her.  If it lasts, you're the exception and that's probably a sign you aren't living enough ;)

P.S. You've got college ahead of you--cheer the fuck up!  'cause impending college graduation is 1000x worse, since reality hits you like a ton of bricks.
