I actually did buy a lot of games when it first came out, even once piracy kicked in full blast... but once they announced they were stopping production, I went apeshit downloading stuff. Still bought a lot peripherals for that fucking thing, VMUs laying everywhere

I think the games I paid for were Soul Calibur, Code Veronica, and PSO. I can't remember whether I paid for Blue Stinger or not. I was at college when the DC piracy thing kicked into high gear, and the easy piracy was a dream come true for a poor gamer in college.
