He looked to be about 104 years old. Long, long arms. Black coat. Seated at a cheap-o Casio, he's kind of leaning back and playing the keyboard in time with a recording of some stock Polish polka. But he is way, way off. And so here's this guy who looks like he was the Kaiser's personal court musican, but he's just making the kind of atonal noise that won Zorn a MacArthur grant.

The kicker: Ducttaped to his keyboard is one of those like. Wiggling, dancing statues. It says "The Jazzman" and it's a fat black guy playing a saxaphone. So it's the 104 year old maestro wailing away on a Casio with the Jazzman bopping along.

When I see crazy people on the street, I totally understand now. This is what they see.

i love people like that.  i walked by a homeless bagman today who said hello to me.  I wish I stopped, but i was listening to headphones and was kind of taken back by him greeting me out of nowhere.

His sons or something have to help him carry his keyboard and stuff. I saw a short film with him in it.
