Democrats are apathetic by this point, bored of the pointless drawn-out primary. That's how they'll lose this election. They bored the base into apathy. It's like Kerry, except this time they used two candidates to do it. Hopefully, Hillary is politically killed by the next elections. If she's willing to salt the ground of a potential Democratic win for her own selfish desires, she'll try again in another four years.

These primaries have gotten so bitter that I'm willing to accept that both sides will not come together in the general elections. The Democrats blew this one. Again.

If they do lose this, which is looking more and more likely as the days roll by and the media trumps up more "scandals" on both sides, they REALLY need to have some sort of conference or whatever to align themselves. By my count, the incompetence of the Democrats has had as much to do with the enshittening of America as the Republicans. After all, GWB should have never been electable in the first place, triply so for his reelection. And a Republican win for this election should be impossible by a factor of sextuple. . .but the Democrats are just that incompetent. The Synbios of political parties.

Just from a strategic standpoint, it's absurd to think that Clinton could win. She'd use the same stupid electoral map that Kerry and Gore lost with. Also, if you want to be real about it, think about what she'd have to do to even get the nomination. You and I both know that she's not going to finish ahead in pledged delegates. Probably not going to come within 100. You really think the majority of the AA community is going to come out and vote for her in November after that? I don't think so. Then you have to factor in who's running her campaign. Yeah. Real great team there. She'd be deader than dead.

Now, in a vacuum where Obama hadn't happened, she might well have beaten McCain. But probably not. A lot of the country hates her, even without trying to screw Obama out of the nomination.

But look at what goes in play if Obama is the nominee that won't if Clinton is: Virginia, North Carolina, Colorado, New Mexico, Iowa etc. And I think he's got firmer support in places like Wisconsin, Minnesota, Maine, etc. Clinton's attempts to claim that her victories in places that any Dem will win in November (NY, CA, NJ, MA) are meaningful is laughable.

So please Maurice. I need a laugh. Exactly how is she going to do better than Obama against McCain in November.

My assumption of her winning the general is not possible unless she wins the nomination legally, without fucking shit up. In that case yes, I do think she'd beat McCain using Gore/Kerry's playbook more effectively. I think she'd take Ohio, she'd take Penn., she'd be competitive in Florida.

Obama isn't carrying North Carolina in November dude.
