Looks pretty cool despite the lackluster PS 2.5 graphics.  The atmosphere seems far scarier than Resident Evil or Silent Hill. 

I hope they bring it over to the US.

Hey, Johnny.  You're in Japaland, did you ever check out the Siren movie?  If so, how was it?

Siren was a game I wanted to love, it was technically great, but the whole stealth/horror combo I found insufferable.  If they smooth things out I'd only be too happy to give it another chance.

Did any of you Japanese reading EBers try the demo?  Game looks kinda ugly from the screenshots I've seen at GAF.

Damn, this game is ugly.  It probably wouldn't even be comparable to the best looking PS2 games if not for the HD resolution. 
Luckily, everything's dark so the lack of shading effects and PS2-like character models aren't so noticeable. 

Since the text is in Japanese, I had no idea what to do after killing the first two zombies so I just quit.  Siren seems to play like Silent Hill but SH's atmosphere feels far scarier.

this demo did nothing for me. it looks horrible even with the shitty film grain and the controls are terrible.

not sure why they decided to remake a PS2 game that no one was interested in, but I guess it's a cheap & easy port for Sony since they need more games.
