Malkmus
Terror Twilight is pretty awesome. The full production (done by Nigel Godrich) really helped the songs a lot...

I really don't understand why a lot of fans consider the album to be by far their least favorite. It had pretty great songs across the board imo and Carrot Rope was an ideal closing song

Part of it was the production-- a lot of people felt it was too "un-indie" sounding. Other people say it's the first Malkmus solo album, since there aren't any Spiral Stairs songs on it. I like it for both of those reasons, though it's not my fave...You Are A Light is one of my favorite pavement songs though

I like Gold Sounds. I really have to be in the mood for Pavement, and I'm almost never in the mood. :'(
