So, I'm setting up a new voicemail/hold/auto-attendant greeting for my company and the restaurant we run. There's this website, Voices.com, where you list a job and the kind of delivery you're looking for (Sexy, sweet, young, old, man,woman) and then all of these people do like a quick and dirty recording and you get to listen their audition. I got 77 replies in a week. 77 people reading whatever message I posted. And I'm under no obligation to pick any of them.
I will. It's been super-helpful and about a 1/5th of the cost of going through an agency. But the potential, my friends, is enormous. They will read anything you submit. And in a week, you will have 50+ readings of whatever you decided to make them read. It makes me power mad.
