Crazy. I was just replaying that a couple of days ago. I had a friend who would lend me some off the wall Gameboy games when I was a kid and that was one of them. When I got my PSP customed that was one of first the Gameboy games I decided to replay. That and Gargoyle's Quest.

That reminds me. I need to play Boomer's Adventure in Asmik World. It's been ages since I played that and remembered it to be a fun Bomberman clone.

I used to play Revenge of the Gator all the time on my friend's Gameboy - we drooled over this game and regarded it a real AAA title.

Isn't that on a cover of one of those "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" books?  Those always had kick ass illustrations.

Anyway, between that and these obscure Game Boy games, I'm having flashbacks to summer camp.

Also, Boxxle, Penguin Wars, and Kwirk.

Wow, this post is awesome... I have a lot of nostalgia for old GB puzzle games. Anybody remember Bubble Ghost? Some other good GB games I liked: Balloon Kid, Final Fantasy Legend 1 and 2, Final Fantasy Adventure, Hyper Lode Runner, Rolan's Curse, and of course GARGOYLE'S QUEST!!!

So i decided to play Boomer's Adventure today for the first time in almost two decades and my memory completely failed me on this game. It wasn't a Bomberman clone but, ironically, a clone of Heiyankyo Alien. It's pretty much just like that game where you're digging holes to capture the enemies. Don't think I will try to finish the game though as it's reeeaaally slow and has obnoxious music.
