I love watching bad movies on Hulu.  But fuck, this movie is so terrible.  There's fucking man-monkey subtext everywhere in this movie!

Isn't planet of the apes really just a huge metaphor for the white mans fight against black people?
It's an allegory about the conflict between religion and science, specifically biblical literalism and evolution.

I've seen the Blu-ray on sale several times but each time I passed even though it's supposedly a good transfer. 

You know a movie w/lots of special effects is shit when I won't even rewatch it in 1080p.

Yeah, HD can't even make this movie good.  Fuck it's terrible.  All the apes talk like they've got a shitload of spit in their mouth
