Post how much shit you have on your HDD. Here's me:

Music: 6.43GBs, 1600 files

Videos: 3.61GBs, 34 files

Pictures: 447MBs, 914 files

Porn: 21.4GBs, 31,725 files

Steam: 9.67GBs

Feel free to post the sizes of other shit like your WoW folder.

940 gigs of video (across 2 HDDs) and about 300-400 gigs of music. No porn. Pictures it gets difficult to judge because I keep multiple copies of each photo, like a RAW and a jpg and what not. My RAW folder currently reads a bit less than 20 gigs.

About 4.5, with a significant portion dedicated to backups, although at this point, I don't keep everything backed up anymore. The collection has just gotten too big.

EDIT: It's 320 of music. I knew I had slowed down the past year on music, but I didn't know that much.

I knew this one dude who had 22 days of music, but that's STILL not 320GBs, at least I don't think so. It was closer to like 75GBs.

Games:210 GB

Music: 1-2 GB. I ran out of HD space before I got my new 750GB external drive so I backed up all the music to DVD-Rs. Haven't had time since then to recopy them to the HD.

Pics: 3-4 gb I like keeping uncompressed copies of my pics.

video: 2 gbs Mostly just game videos or sports events since I don't like the poor quality of XVIDS or DIVX

Academics: 15 gbs. Lots of reference powerpoints and board review videos.

I used to have around 20GBs of videos when Adult Swim played good anime and I'd torrent them all. I had every Full Metal Alchemist and Samurai Champloo episode, and other bits and pieces of shows.

120 gigs or so of TV and counting. I had 10 gigs of porn from Spankwire until I reformatted. Now I just stream it. I need to get an external HDD for all the TV I've been downloading. I haven't put any of my music back on my comp ever since I reformatted either.

USB is sloooooooooooooooooow compared to E-sata. Now that I've used an E-sata drive, I don't think I can ever go back to USB or Firewire again.

I don't see the point. Keeping it all on drive is much more convenient and time efficient. Burning shit to DVD is as pointless as downloading porn.

Keeping it on HD is safer as well. The chances of a HD failing are smaller than that of a disc beings scratched beyond repair.

Also, videoclips don't run as well off a disc. It's really annoying when the optical drive can't keep up with me rewinding or fastforwarding a video.

I didn't even know people stream porn, but I wouldn't use it.

I download and save porn because I used to just bookmark sites and then many of my favorite sites disappeared or I lost the bookmarks. I think I've lost like half of all my most favorite porn pictures and videos that way.

And also, I don't watch traditional porn, amateur ftw.
