Finally got around to playing it. I rarely like an FPS, but OMG this game is good and kinda noob friendly.

Same here, but I still like the Halo. Going back to Halo 3 from COD4 was weird, though. The framerate felt like it was CHUGGING.

Halo and Call of Duty are completely different types of FPSes. Halo is more of an adventure while COD is more of a war simulation. Technically, COD4 was a much better game though.

Halo 3 would probably be much better on the PC just like Halo 2 was. Bungie just never have enough time to optimize their games for the consoles.

cod4 is great i'm level 53

I like the g36c, it makes a beautiful sound. Its not the best gun but it rox.

best maps: crossfire, strike, crash, backlot, overgrown, downpour

I'm assuming that Viz has the PS3 version since he didn't mention Chinatown or Broadcast.

I've been using the AK47 most of the time and the other automatic that fires 3 rounds at a time. Are there better automatics that I should be using?

i do indeed have the ps3 version, i got it for free so i cannot complain

I like the 3 round burst guns like the m16 (arguably the best gun) but I find myself forgetting I'm not using a fully automatic and getting killed because of this

also I have a setup with the p90, bandolier, steady aim, deep impact ftw. gun is a killing machine with blindfire, bandolier makes up for its small ass clip and deep impact is a must.

I dont use it much because a jammer is really the best 2nd perk for stealth

Play headquarters, you will rank up in no time. You get a decent amount of XP for reaching 25 kills with most weapons too, plus you'll get your Red Dot Sight at some point

The first day back after not playing for a month, I went 21-0 in one game.

(this was about a month or so ago)

I haven't played much lately other than a few days after the map pack. I kinda regret buying it, if only because I can no longer denounce DLC from my high horse.

I only play COD4 online now if I see FatalT or my best friend on. It's fun playing with them and they don't do that Search and Destroy bullshit.

It had to be an issue with Live. I tried 4 different times to play, hoping that whatever was wrong was either fixed or mummed down. I ended up just turning my system off in disgust. This seems to happen everytime MS does an update to Live. The Christmas one was horrible, luckily I was one of the few affected by it. But this one seems to have gotten me.

I bought this game for the PS3 late March. I suck at it. I've played MP only and have yet to get a kill.

I'm like 0-32 lifetime.

I'm going to try and get my first kill this weekend. Wish me luck!!!!
