then the forbidden kingdom is well worth your time.

ignore the white boy

one of my few issues was that the Jet Li / Jackie Chan fight could have been doubled on Chan's part for many of the shots because we don't really see their faces.

the plot and characters are filled with wonderful allusions to older classic films while not being a slave to fan service.

I was supposed to see this last weekend with a few folks and everyone changed their minds at the last minute after learning it was primarily a children's movie.  I think Around the World in 80 Days came to mind. 

I'm gonna try to catch it sometime before Iron Man drops.
