Today I used one of my personal days because I could not sleep at all last night.  I was just lying in bed trying to fall asleep for hours.   Now it's 9AM.




GAH.  SO now I'm going to try and power through the day on no sleep so my sleep cycle will not be completely fucked.  Can't effectively work like that.  Don't want to charge the customer for half-assed sleep walking work.  Plus I'll probably electrocute myself and die in flames.

One time I had a lot of sex the night before and was sore and stiff the next day.  I still went to work, tho.  Although back in the day, I've gone to work while I was still tripping on acid and shit from the night before.  Hell, I think I gave someone a review once while I was still on acid or some sort of hallucinogen.

There are few things worse than staying up all night, taking uppers, going to work, and crashing mid-shift.

I still went to work, tho.  Although back in the day, I've gone to work while I was still tripping on acid and shit from the night before.

I did this last week.  I was also still drunk.  I came in and my boss asks me why I'm wearing two different shoes.  I just told him exactly what I did.  He's a pretty cool guy about things like that.  Then again, my major job responsibility is making cheesesteaks.

Hey, when I have a job I'm pretty conscientious about going to it on time, all the time.  It makes me into an insane stressball tho, so it's best that I don't have a real job for all concerned.  I'm no where near as bad as some of my old friends, they would call in to work and say they were too tired to come to work.

I think that is a perfectly valid reason for not working. Your going to do shit work anyway and then you are going to start to hate your job (or hate it more) which leads to you quitting or getting fired. The employer then has to take time and spend money hiring and training a new employee thus inflicting more damage upon the employer than you missing just one day.
