Police called to calm tension - 8:30 AM
23rd Ward. Frankford.
At the Police Athletic League Center, Frankford & Ruan, which houses polls for 2 precincts, witnesses report a campaign worker for the local State Rep began ripping down signs for his primary opponent. An altercation developed between volunteers for the rival campaigns. The police were called to calm the situation. No arrests have been made (the person identified as ripping down the signs left before police arrived).
