Interesting Del Toro comments on a future project

Quote
It's called SATURN AND THE END OF DAYS and thankfully it doesn't sound like the Governator will be anywhere near this... What he calls his final movie about "childhood and horror", it tells the tale of the Apocalypse, as seen through the eyes of a small child going to and from the grocery store. "What would happen if the Apocalypse was viewed while you were doing errands," Del Toro pondered. "You go back and forth and nothing big happens except the entire world is being sucked into a vortex of fire."

Me too. All things considered, it turned out a lot better than probably anyone could have expected.

The Stuart Gordon one?

yessir.

i was pleasantly surprised

i liked reanimator and bride of, the only two of his i'd seen previously, but some reviewers i respected gave it high marks, so i checked it out and quite enjoyed it

it got the plot and atmosphere right, or "right enough" to not annoy me

There ya go TVC, he's going after an original idea.

OF AWESOME.

spoiler (click to show/hide)
sorry, couldn't remember if you said Cuaron was just doing licensed shit or Del Toro was just doing licensed shit and they needed to do original ideas. You might have said both.
