Inexpensive, small, and lightweight laptops have been very pathetic. They offer poor value for the money, small and cramped keyboards, and disappointing battery life. Despite these deficiencies, Asus has managed to sell over a million crappy eeepc's. These sales numbers are causing manufactures to jump into the subnotebook market, including MSI. In June MSI will be releasing Wind.

The MSI Wind is still a bad value; similar priced notebooks offer much more power, bigger screens, larger hard drives, etc. But the Wind will at least have a regular sized keyboard and very good battery life, reportedly lasting for up to seven hours. It will also be powered by Intel's newest CPU, the Atom.
