I haven't had Calculus since high school thankfully, and I didn't like it then either. All I can come up with is x to 9 sequentually type of thing there, and the infinite sign. Have no idea what that other sgn is. I'm missing an inside joke I guess.
The symbol for infinity is like the number 8 rotated 90 degrees, so for the next one, the number 5 is rotated 90 degrees.
I had calculus my first semester of college. I was at Ecro's house most nights trying to make sense of it. He had the same class, same text, but my professor made it unnecessarily hard.
Even if I didn't have a hard time in the class though, I probably still would't know if that first equation is actually a real one.
