I wish I could understand japanese... game looks great but shitty textures are shitty.

How can you even determine the quality of the textures from such a video?

Also, you're not missing anything in the dialog.  It's all pieced together from various other trailers.  Nothing new.

The texture resolution is clearly poor, I can tell from counting the pixels and from seeing many low res textures in my day.

MGS has always had pretty flat textures.  MGS games just look good because of the excellent modeling and animation.

what are you talking about? mgs2:s added nothing in terms of making the game better and mgs3:s addded a new camera and online (which wasnt very good)

Sorry, I don't agree with insane people that think any of Hideo Kojiima's "masterpieces" could win Oscars or stand the test of time as well as a Citizen Kane could.

Every God damn time one of these comes out Kojima bitches about how he couldn't fulfill his "true" vision. Then instead of people wondering whether or not the game is actually as good as its claimed to be, they use his constant bitching about how he couldn't deliver to cement his place as a mastermind and genius.

Well, i've heard conflicting things from people who've played it, so i'm not saying it is/isn't 30fps. That's by the by and not what i'm getting at.

I just question why Konami would put a poor capture out to promote their game. Seems a bit... amateurish, and not what i'd expect from KojiPro.

I don't know if a grain of salt should be taken but TTP has been saying its definitely 30fps but a smooth 30fps
