I'm officially OLD. What the hell is Elite Beat Agents?!

Did this game come out of nowhere? Or is it one of those much hyped Japanese franchises that are finally getting an import?

The general impression I get is that it's a rythym game that has a "game" attached to it (meaning levels).

How can people be excited for a game that has THIS song list?

It's kinda like DDR for your hand... but not really. The original version was all jappafagtastic, but to sell it to the round eyes we need more Hoobastank, I guess!

I like the original a ton.  I'm no jpop cigarillo, but I can see how some people are writing this follow-up off:  In the original, it may have been jpop garbage, but at least you couldn't understand what they were saying.  I think th egame will turn out fine, since all the songs are just covers anyway.

It's a fun rhythm game.  Just don't go into it thinking it's he most incredible game ever, but I really shouldn't have to warn you not to base your expectations off of GAF hype.

What rhythm games are missing are more songs from ABC. How can you go wrong with songs like "Shoot that Poison Arrow" and "Look of Love"?

What's amazing is that they took two awesome artists like David Bowie and the Rolling Stones and picked the worst songs for each respectively. It's like it was intentional to pick really bad, campy songs.

I'll definitely pass on this game. Although I like the idea of there being objectives (a game) in a rhythm genre game.
