Kind of like a minute by minute blog thing.  For the longest time I thought it had something to do with This Week In Tech (TWiT) since Leo always talked about it.

He annoys me with that crap.  I like his podcast, but it has become a Twitter commercial as of late.

It's basically a microblog.  I used to use it to do updates to my blog from my cell phone.  It's good for that sort of thing, but used as a mass-IMer, as it tends to be used, is just dumb.
