:drool look at all those hexes :drool

I hate that all the local boardgamers want to play just warhammer40k or german style boardgames. I haven't had a real hardcore wargaming fix since college. Anyone know of a good site/forum where people gather to play these sort of games by region? I did some googling and couldn't find anything but people looking for fegs to populate their White Wold LARP squad.

I don't know anyone into these so I don't play, but I've always been interested due to my WWII fetish

I love the figurines, though, and if I had room for a shame case I would buy and display them

in the va/dc/bmore region there are a TON of local gaming clubs.

That's SPI's War in Europe. I admit to never playing that one but I LOVE the map.

I'll check yahoo groups. I have a local duplicate bridge club that I infrequently go to, but that's more a couples thing that the nearly exclusively male nerdalert wargamer tradition.
