I give her driving lessons usually, and during our lesson yesterday she told me that she still loves her ex-girlfriend and stuff. I just feel so rotten because she sees me as one of her best friends that she can tell everything to. Besides, I just think its not a good idea to have a relationship right now (we're in the same company, we're going to Iraq...etc...) but geez it's killing me.

Honestly, most of our nco's and officers know. But they just don't care...that's how ridiculous the "don't ask, don't tell" policy has become. We all joined the army for pretty much the same reason, and no one really cares what we choose to do with our relationships.
