I think I'm gonna see it. I don't know much about the character or the movie though.

BRIDGES . He in the big fight at the end used all those cheesey bad guy lines and puns it was so odd since he is a badass actor.

BUUUUT Downey Jr. made this movie, absolutely made it. He carried this second tier super hero to be my favorite marvel movie outside of Spider-Man 2. Him alone, without him it would have been another daredevil or fantastic four. But because of how he played the role and his acting he made it one of the best marvel movies ever. I never seen a movie's quality so determined by one actor.

Is that a good thing? I am unsure, but I don't care Robert Downey Jr.: The movie was damn awesome. MEH JEFF BRIDGES

My audience was wild too. When the trailer for the new M Night Shymamaallalan movie came on they booed and hissed when his name appeared on the screen, it was lol. First time I heard booing in a theater.

But in the end the character of Iron Man doesn't deserve the quality movie he is given. fantastic four and hulk are meh while a less one iron man gets it done right, Downey DOWNEY DOWNEY!

Just got back from seeing it. It was basically a big budget Sci-Fi Channel movie standing on the shoulders of Robert Downey Jr. While it's better than the Fantastic Four flicks and Ghost Rider it still suffers from poor direction, shoddy editing, and distinguished mentally-challenged characters. The whole thing was just another setup movie that promises "big things" for the sequel. If it wasn't for Downey's cocky Stark then the movie would have been just another cheap looking, forgettable superhero flick. He's pretty much the only reason to see the movie since the Iron Man only has about 10 minutes of action fun time.

It's not an absolute disaster, I just expected something better directed than this. Also I missed the after credits moment where

Some recent drawings I've seen have apparently changed the look to the character. He probably got jealous when the Punisher went black so he changed his look too.

Back in the early 90's, when the Punisher comic sales were on the decline, I believe Marvel was trying to reinvent the Punisher character to appeal to the rapidly growing Arsenio Hall generation. While running from the Kingpin the Punisher's face got maimed and with the help of a plastic surgeon turned prostitute (?) his face and body was magically reconstructed into this:

He even hung out with Luke Cage and was beaten by the racist police at one point.

And also inherited the catch phrases as well.
