on monday i went to a metal show and wore a sports jacket and my Blue Note records polo shirt.  my companion wore a black dress, black leather boots fishnets and severe make up.

i'm not having a midlife crisis, but it feels as though, to an outside observer, i have the appearance of someone who is.

Yeah, I'm pretty much the same way, except I think my output was better when I was just sticking to alcohol rather than doing lots of drugs.  Nowadays it's just notes and things I start and get a few pages into and drop.  Maybe I should start doing drugs again.  I miss them so much

My wife and I ALWAYS feel old when we go to all-ages shows. I'm 26 and she's 27. The average age is probably 17 or 18...
