it does suck, but I love the shortages.  I was able to buy one at retail, play the must-play games, then sell it off for more than I paid.

Now that Brawl's out, there isn't a single other game that interests me coming out for the system.  Besides maybe Fatal Frame 4.

I had a Voodoo 5 for several months.  The Voodoo 5 was the same as the Voodoo 4, except the Voodoo 5 had 2 chips instead of 1. 

It was actually a much better card than reviewers give it credit for. 

Nvidia did a great job of marketing the Geforce 1's Hardwae T&L even though it was a basically useless feature. 

After a few months with the Geforce 1, I replaced it with the Voodoo 5, which was the first card to support full scene anti-aliasing. 

With FSAA turned on, the image quality was simply stunning.

Like  I mentioned in the previous post, Voodoo 4&5 actually shared the same GPU but V4 only had 1 chip while V5 had 2.

Me three.  Got my Geforce 2 about 6 mohths later also.  Voodoo 5 still had better image quality but the Geforce 2 was way faster.

I skipped the Voodoo 3 though.  I used a TNT 2 ultra and had 2 Voodoo 2s in SLI for 3DFX compatibility.

I fuckin' like Nintendo games.  I'm stupid.  Oh well, I don't regret my purchase.  I play my Wii and 360 about equally.  In all honesty, I just haven't played a lot of games lately.  I think I'm growing out of it.

in all honesty, i bought it for my daughter, who LOVED endless ocean when i rented it whilst borrowing tvc's wii. it's really not my thing, and i knew it -- i just jumped on an opportunity to get one when i had the impulse money.

Which is funny, because the GameCube was an N64 with worst third-party support.

Eh but if they use this gen's tech then that's just PS3 and 360 again which isn't that terrible really. Nintendo will (read: better) go 1080p next round so how that'll end up is anybody's guess.
