The only reason I didn't buy this on Steam is because I didn't see the Gold Edition available. Plus, I didn't want to wait to download it. I needed it TONIGHT. Not to mention my store credit more than covered the purchase. But no, I needed to get fucked in the ass. And now my GTA4 has locked up for a few seconds a couple of times.

Fuck you Willco.

This is what I get for buying something at Gamestop. Jesus Christ, what a piece of shit. Whatever, I'm right where I would be anyway. Gonna buy it on Steam right now. Now I just need to return this shit and punch the fat fuck who sold it to me in the face.

Cajole, I've seen that Gold Edition for $19.99 at Fry's.

Also, post pics of your new labtop.  I wanna see what a 1920x1200 17" screen looks like.

And there are no Fry's where I live. :(

Some salt into the wound:

Man, you should have PM'd me-there was a copy of COH in the target bargain bin, I would've picked it up for you and PM'd you the key. :(

Oh BTW-the key is on the back of the manual at the bottom. Was there no manual? If not then just take it back and say "hey, there is no manual here!" and the console tard probably won't clue in that the key is on the manual.

Holy Jesus fuck :(

And there is no key on the manual. That was the first place I checked. I'm not a console tard. :(

Also, right in the manual:

You will be asked to enter the unique Install Code, or CD Key, located on a separate piece of paper in the game case.

We already had this thread and I told you ALL what to do.  Since it's within seven days, you can return it for the identical item - make sure you tell them the CD key was missing.

As long as he is returning it within seven days for the identical item, they really cannot deny the return.  If the manager on duty throws a hissyfit, he can call general Customer Service and they'll tell the Store Manager personally to do the same thing I'm saying right now.

Demi, piracy's why we need to keep buying the games.  What's the point of having great hardware if there are no games to play on it?

You should support PC gaming since your new PC will be a pretty awesome gaming machine.   When are you going to finish building it?

OK, I had just pulled out my copy of COH and there was  the key on the back of the manual. THQ must have changed the packaging in later releases of the game.

Ram has been really cheap the last few weeks.  You might want to get some now since memory prices can fluctuate quite a bit.

Corsair or OCZ are pretty good.  All you need is DDR2 800 with a CAS latency of 4.

If you decide to get 4gbs, then get 2x2gb instead of 4x1gb.   2 sticks tend to be more stable than 4.

coh is cheap and it's certifiably awesome, well worth the money for the online. pirating it isn't worth the trouble.

Cajole, between Steam and Direct2Drive, most of the important stuff is available for direct download on PCs right away.  Don't buy retail!

It's probably the best RTS game in the last five years, all other things being equal.

The campaign is actually FUN in COH, I had a good time with all three (American, Brits, Panzer Elite). I just wish the skirmish AI was better, sometimes I just feel like a quick game and it stinks that the CPU IA is so bad.

Nice pics, Cajole.  Have you watched a Blu-ray on it yet?

Does it consist of all the old school Gold Box games?

There was a BUY 2, GET 1 FREE sale at B&N the other day, but even then, they still weren't that cheap. I'm waiting for a good deal.

Circuit City probably still has COH on their shelves for 10 dollars. For whatever reason, they clearanced most of their PC games .. but never bothered to label the updated prices. So, they probably still have stock left.

I picked up Heroes of MM for 3 bucks and the entire BF1942 anthology for 5.
