how the fuck do i get the wii to recognize a second waggle wand

i can't be bothered to read instruction manuals, so one of you fegs tell me. i press 1 + 2 and the four lights on the bottom of the waggle wand flash, and then...nothing. what a shit system.

Seems like therre's a synch button somewhere, perhaps under the remote cover?

Press the red button in the back of the remote at the same time as you press the red button on your Wii. On the front of the Wii, open up the little slot where you put the SD cards and the red button will be there.

Its easy. Theres a remote settings to temporary sync remotes on the home menu i think. You cant press them at once.

It's shockingfly fucking difficult for a system that emphasizes accessibility: There's a "Sync" button inside the battery compartment

Its what i said. It works temporarily through the home menu on the wiimote  But its temporary and the new synced wiimote will desync once you shut down the wii

The best part of the whole thing is that the controllers will randomly swap. Sometimes you'll turn on the Wii with your primary controller and it will ring up as player 2.

PS3's wireless controller isnt much better. I've had it skip scenes in movies pop up menus in movies when I forgot to turn it off, and ive had it bring up craploads of game menus while playing the game just on its own lol
