geometry wars galaxies! basically, if the wii game features "galaxy" in the title it is not crap. this is a really nice extension of the retro evolved formula, only now with stage progression, weapons, and unlocks. the controls work nicely enough with the waggle wand -- you control the ship with the nunchuck, and move a sparkly cursor in the direction you want the ship to shoot -- and i haven't had a problem so far, although i'd still prefer dual analog. points to kuju for making a pretty robust little game out of what was a cute but shallow arena shooter. I thought you can use the dual analogue if you had the classic controller. Anyways, has the game gone down to a reasonable price yet? I've actually been wanting to pick this up but the price was too much for me to swallow.

Drinky's not alone in his GeoWars:Galaxies love, it is indeed a very very fine game. Best action game on the Wii, hell, of all last year maybe.

I will say that Zack&Wiki is another really solid game-game for the Wii but its not for everybody (aggressively cute, punishing insta-death puzzles, contains waggle).

yeah, works great with the classic controller. the game is totally worth the $40.
