Is The Movies a fun game?

It's only $10 new nowadays, thought I might give it a try if the create and save movie feature is cool

It's pretty fun, if flawed.  Note that you have to unlock shit (although I think there was a cheat/hack) to make movies in free mode.  It's also kinda limited, but that's to be expected.  No idea what the expansion adds.

If you like fucking around with Sim City style games, 10 bucks is a fair price.

from what i read the expansion adds free camera, stuntmen, extra sets (like miniature cities for monster movies)

Eh, it's decent.

Picked it up for ten dollars, played it for one day during the Halo 3 beta, never picked it up again.

i thought it was too basic as a tycoon style game, and I had no desire to really get into the movie making aspect with it. but i can see how people could enjoy it.
