The "Terminator" will indeed be back -- but this time with a more kid-friendly rating.

As production starts today on "Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins," the next installment in the action franchise, producers at the Halcyon Co. say they aim to deliver a PG-13 movie to Warner Bros. for release on May 22, 2009.

Fuck this series, I'm done.

I believe I predicted this was going to fail.

Looks like I just got the confirmation.

Wasn't Terminator 3 PG-13 as well?

It's directed by McG, it's doesn't have Arnold, Terminator 3, it's PG-13, it has three credited writers and Paul Haggis is rumored to be re-writing it; does anyone need any other clues that this movie is going to totally bite?

Is the TV show any good? This series died after T2. Actually, people shouldn't consider T2 having anything to do with the first or third films. Both are so flat and assy compared to the second, it's like a whole different monster.

T3 was good but not great, a slippery slope I feel.

Stop smoking crack. T1 is at least T2's equal.

at least the over hated T3 will get more respect after it can only be compared favorably to its McG directed sequel.

Kinda like how Batman Returns looks a LOT better after the Shumacher films.

Yep, which is why his contribution to Casino Royale's script probably saved the movie considering the other screenwriters were responsible for Die Another Fucking Suck.
