the head of yahoo kept raising the price per stock because he didn't want microsoft buying the company.  This was all intended.

I really feel like it was damned if you do, damned if you don't. MSOFT acquistions are usually horribly awful affairs and I don't think this would have been any different. On the other hand, Yahoo is a troubled enterprise that's starting to get back on course but finds itself in real trouble. Plus, the shareholders got fucked on this deal. What's a Yang to do?

As an internet ad admin, I'm all for serving G Ads on Yahoo. Easier for me. But I really don't know whether or not this is a good thing and what should have happened instead. I suspect MSoft will make another bid in a few weeks when the shareholders burn down the headquarters
