MotorStorm 2 gameplay video. It's downloading real slow so I haven't seen it yet myself, but it's MotorStorm 2, in the jungle. It's not going to be an ugly game. Hopefully there is cockpit cam this time around though.

Eh, that MotorStorm 2 footage was pretty unexciting. I don't understand why they would even show it off like this. But I guess they did that with the first one too.

Killzone 2 really did look like COD4 with destructible environments.  Looks visually enticing, but pretty uninspiring gameplay-wise.

Over the weekend, I noticed that my PS3 was covered in a layer of dust.

So I wiped the PS3 clean with a cleaning cloth (but not before wiping the hall with said cleaning cloth first).

Make me your new emperor.

There has been an alarming increase of Sfaggotry the last few days.  It is my duty to trample the movement before it gained any significant momentum.

McDragon, Xfag emperor is just using the typical Sfag tactic of feinting interest in a game so that he can justify his trolling later on, ala F@lus, Kittonwy, etc.

IGN: "it looks like Killzone 2 may be dangerously close to embarking upon the same road as its predecessor in offering ambience to the detriment of its other aspects. Traipsing through the level at hand, we come across an alarming number of crates, which although are all the better for showing off the cover system, belie some uninspired level design...................Similarly, some of the game's appropriations were sadly wide of the mark – when one of the grunts exclaims he feels 'like a spare prick at a gang bang' we couldn't help but squirm at the forced machismo of it all."

Looks like there is trouble in paradise. The preview doesn't say anything about AI, but it looked to be average at best in the new footage. Helghast were not using cover or any flanking techniques. Hopefully they can address this, because the animation/lighting/physics look great.

Damn, ME is seriously goddamn amazing.

ME looks seriously like a next gen version of Breakdown, which means I probably won't be able to play it.  I almost never get sick playing FPSers but when a game simulates every head movement like Breakdown (or ME) I make a mad dash to the dramamine.

It does look cool though.

KZ2 looks amazing, but seriously, Guerrilla has never made a game with good... gameplay?  *gasp*  Maybe they'll tighten up level 3, because i'm buying it regardless.

What's the song playing in the Mirror's Edge trailer? I know it's not an original track. Which is a shame, but I guess I can hope that the actual game will be of a similar sort.

Remember the much laughed at Gears of War gameplay clip where Fenix and a grub played peek-a-boo though? Now, I'm certainly not saying that Killzone 2 will deliver (so far, the incredible presentation has seemed really at odds with the dull gameplay), but it always seems somewhat daft to worry much about A.I. in demonstration runs.

As for uninspired level design, that hasn't seemed to hurt some of the biggest games in the genre. It will all come down to gameplay. The presentation is there, now it "just" needs to be a blast to play.

It's genuinely beautiful, in a clean fashion. It offers a very appealing alternative to the grit and grunge of damned near every other "high profile" game shown these days. It elevates usage of the first person perspective well above the walking turret/gun-on-a-stick baseline, and then takes it to yet another level by basing it around free running motion, which in itself offers an experience that is quite simply awesome. It's full of win.

I like the way the colours are acting as an indicator of your path. It seems from the trailer that the game is going to be incredibly well-designed.

I was just reaching for something nice to say. I don't give a  shit if the game is monotone, if it ends up good

Yeah, that should realistically inspire stiffies among war game fanatics everywhere. Hell, I'm pretty sure I'm getting this one, actual game quality be damned. It will be my annual gift to my inner graphics and presentation savage whore.

Still haven't seen anything on the level of the thud-gurgle knife throw from Killzone 1 though, which is troubling. That was like the only truly awesome thing about the gameplay in that game.
