Speeding ticket, had court this morning.

I can get the point taken off if I do the course.

$400 and 1 fucking bucks.  I am on a serious budget this month.

That will learn me to not speed when I'm about to miss a flight.

In NY if you get a ticket that high you're probably losing your license.

Chump change.

I got hit with a $3,150 fine. Bastards were holding back my speeding tickets until I had to re-register the car, then they hit me all in one go.

I got a speeding ticket

they got me to plead guilty

so I could take an online class to get the points off

then i had to pay like $100 for the fucking exam out of a hotel conference room -_-

the instructor gave me all the answers

then I find out I was suppose to take the exam the day before or the points stay on my record

I yelled noooooooooooooo it's not possible

so I got points on my record but the exam still offset the points...anywho my insurance went up $25

moral of the story: when a cop pulls you over...when they get out the car and start walking to your car...hit the gas and go

Same here in NC, although NC is one of the worst states to have to deal with police officers in general, particularly for speeding.

i got 17 over the speed limit a couple weeks back. Anything over 16 over is automatic license suspension. Between attorney fees and court costs, i'm looking at $320, but my insurance won't go up.
