For every pair you buy, you also finance the purchase of a pair for a child in an impoverished country. The shoes aren't particularly attractive to me, and as a black man I can't get away with wearing them, BUT I bought a pair anyway just for the kids

You know, I was about to call you a liar because I can't think of anything black people don't look good in but I looked at the shoes and I actually agree with you.  It also got me thinking that black people probably couldn't pull of Crocs that well either.

I have a feeling these will become the big thing with hipsters, kind of like livestrong bracelets.
