Incest Dad: 'I Am Not a Monster.'

Quote
His criticism of the international media's reporting was published in the German tabloid Bild Zeitung.

"I could have killed them all," reads the front page headline of today's Bild Zeitung. And Fritzl, dubbed a monster by the Austrian media, told his lawyer, Rudolf Mayer, "I'm not a monster," according to today's report.

Sound more like a hero than a monster to me.

Quote
Fritz's lawyer has been seeing him and, according to Bild Zeitung, his client has complained to the lawyer that media coverage has been "unfair" and "completely one-sided."

"I could have killed them all, and no one would ever have known, no one would ever have found out," he reportedly told his lawyer.

Fritzl has confessed to locking up his daughter for almost 24 years, and fathering seven children with her during that time.

Quote
Three of those children, Kerstin, 19, Stefan, 18, and Felix, 5, had never seen sunlight until they were released from their captivity by police last month after Kerstin became seriously ill and was taken to hospital for a life-threatening disease. The young woman has since remained in a medically induced coma and is said to be in critical condition.

"If it wasn't for me, Kerstin would not be alive today," Fritzl is quoted by his lawyer as saying. "It was me who made sure she was taken to hospital."

We were fools to make a big deal about this case.  I could only wish that my dad were this kind of upstanding individual.

And here are more stories, about how one of this American Hero's children can only speak in feral-like growls:  http://abcnews.go.com/Health/story?id=4758945&page=1

Quote
Police learned that three children had been locked with their mother in the basement of their grandparents' home their entire lives, imprisoned by their 72-year-old grandfather. Although they spoke some German to authorities, the prisoners reportedly spoke to one another only in growls.

And here's one about how our modern day Christ figure went on vacation while leaving his children/wives in the sex hole:  http://abcnews.go.com/International/story?id=4755477&page=1

Quote
It shows the man who confessed to imprisoning, raping and impregnating his daughter, Elisabeth, for 24 years on a "boys holiday" in Thailand in 1998, as she and her children suffered in a secret dungeon in the family home thousands of miles away.

Fuck prison.  I say we skip the Nelson Mandela tedious bullshit, save ourselves some time, and just give him the Nobel Peace Prize now.

I don't like this "Incest Dad" title the man has been given.  It's a bit too general -- there are plenty of healthy Father + Daughter relationships out there that do not involve imprisonment and bearing children incapable of speech.

I consider territories we conquered in WWII as part of America.

TVC only read the parts about killing and raping, confirming his bias. Let's hear both sides of the story before we judge this man!

I'm still trying to figure out how the mother (the dad's wife) had no idea what was going on.

...Or did she?

She knew.  To save her own ass, not surprisingly, she is feigning ignorance.
