have fun with that.  I couldn't get into it at all.  10 minutes with a book by Zizek or Baudrillard and I'm on the verge gouging my eyes out and giving myself a lobotomy.

Zizek at least writes amusing popular articles.  But I'm not so much interested in the later postmodern stuff, more in the earlier Frankfurt School stuff.

Cool.  I'm not smart enough to wrap my head around a lot of critical theory (rather, I get some of the ideas, but I space out constantly while reading it), which is probably why I dislike it.

I think a lot of it is wrong and/or doesn't really make sense, and result from the writers tying themselves in knots (at least, I know a lot of Marx and Freud's writings fall in that category).  I'm interested in the parts that do make sense (which a lot of Marx's writings also do).

But mostly, I'm interested in retaining my sanity.
