The DS library just got 100 times better.

NeoDS is a Neo-Geo emulator for the DS.  You can use expansion cards, including the one that comes with the Opera Browser, for extra memory.  I just started testing games on this thing, and you can tell there is work to be done, but HOLY SHIT.  I never thought this would be possible.

You have to make sure you get the right neogeo.zip bios file (use a standard one) and the right roms for it to work with every game.  Takes some playing around.  Some games run perfectly, others have slowdown, although I havent tried those with the sound off...should make them run full speed.  This emulator is really, really good for something so new.

My only gripe is the button placement is messed up...its

DC
BA

instead of

CD
AB

Apparently there's also a new Genesis emulator that works as well or better than this, too.   :o

You can scale the game screen to normal or zoomed out slightly for the entire view.

Is that a screen shot of you playing it?

If it could emulate MOTW at 100% speed, I'd be very impressed.

not meaning to be that guy, but... have you tried the PSP equivalent?

OMFG.

Not meaning to be that guy, but... have you realized who you're talking to?!   ;)   :lol

I play Neo-Geo and CPS all the time on my PSP...but I'll take Neo-Geo on DS too!  You can never have enough!

Yeah, it's a shit-quality pic, though.

The emulator does a remarkable job on MOTW.  It's not quite 100% yet (with sound), but it's still very new.  Oddly enough, games like SvC Chaos, Garou, and KOF 2002 run better than older titles like KOF '98.  I think maybe it's sound related?

A little OT, but has anyone picked the Neo Geo collection for PS2/PSP?  How's the emulation?
