Fucking killer.  The day it goes gold, Epic releases Unreal Engine 3.5.  Perfect timing huh?  :)

I can't wait to see all the new insane shader details on the more intimate underground levels.  omg.  This game is going to define this generation.  I'm calling it right now.  This is going to shake loose bigtime.

Gears has WAAAAAAAAAAy more recognition than Killzone(?)  When the masses and warranted hype comes around(in the media too you know it) this game is going to clobber anything in it's path.  I'm saying 7 million sold WW.  This is going to be huge.

ANd you know the perfect compliment for a hardcore game like this?  Banjo bitches.  Rare motherfuckers!  2 new games to be shown.

motherfucker!  I'm getting the new 360 model.   8)

Think of it, UE3.5 is obviously all the toolsets they have been building on top of the x360 since Gears and continuing till the end of developement.  They did it smart, they pushed this engine out when it was done(and Epic was done with it hehe).

This new engine is going to make for some killer 3 party titles in a year or sooner(?)

it's not really UE3.5, it's the UE3 improved edition, there is no 3.5,  at least from what Tim Sweeney said at GDC.

developers can use the new features as soon as epic update their stuff, by now it should be done.

Isn't Icebreezy a viral?  I don't see Epic sharing their goods.

Otherwise, Dyack wouldn't be suing their asses.

Bioshock is the only UE3 game that comes close to duplicating the technical wizardy in the GOW games.

Agent Icebeezy been talking a lot as if he knows stuff lately when he is clearly just as uninformed as the rest of us.

"Rare thinks this and that."
"Epic does this because of that."
"Banjo will look like so and so."

Etc.

It really annoys me.

i agree, KZ2 has little buzz outside of sonyfagtown; Resistance 2 for instance is going to have more buzz. GoW2 will be on another plane compared to those games in terms of it's recognizability and hype
