I played the bleeds out of CS II for PS2. Good 2 player - good score system, etc...

The bullet patterns will make you cry for sure. I dont recommend if you get seizures etc..

I still think most of the characters are a bit gimmicky and not really that useful in a shooter sense.

So it's just like Shikigami I and II then.

Any word on a Japanese option for the US version?

I dun bought dis.

Its snazzy.  There's lots and lots of options for tuning the game, the music is great, and boy, is it ever ugly.
I can understand immediately why they didn't publish the 360 version in America, it would have murdered by the 360's tech-friendly press.  Even for a Wii game though, its pretty harsh looking.  But hey, its dang nice to play a Shikigami game (how did this ultra-jappy series get all three releases in English while other 2D shooters never come here?) with no slowdown and non dadaist voice acting and translation.

Got 1000/1000 on this on 360 already. It was much better than I had expected, once I tried to get into it, but I still think most of the characters are a bit gimmicky and not really that useful in a shooter sense.

Eh, never really liked the Shikigami series, best part of it for me was the English voice acting.  It still amazes me on how badly done it was.  I've been looking at the 360 version of 3 but am waiting for it to come down in price some more, maybe around 3000yen I'll try it out.  The second game was pretty dull though, also really easy with certain characters.
