Cute puppy!
My neighbor owns one of those and one of my cats torments the hell out of it. Don (my neighbor) came over to complain about my cat Steve jumping over the fence and attacking the dog but I just kind of blew him off because A) I can't control what a cat does outside - hell I can barely control Steve when he's in the house and B) I'm outside quite a bit and I've never seen him do anything like that....or at least I hadn't up to that point.
Well last summer I was outside doing some yardwork and all my animals were out in the back with me, milling about. I heard Yoda (Don's Lhasa Apso) yippin' away next door in his yard and noticed that Steve was now sitting on top of my fence watching the dog. All of a sudden Steve jumped down on top of Yoda, bit his neck and stuck his claws into the side of the dog. Yoda started to howl and tried to get away but Steve was holding on and ended up riding the dog's back for a good 20 or 30 feet.
Now I understand what Don was talking about so we set up a schedule. Thankfully Yoda is more of an indoor dog but when he needs to go outside I gotta collect Steve and give him a timeout.
