SPIDER-MAN fans will get a long-awaited sneak peek at Columbia Pictures' highly anticipated SPIDER-MAN 3 when a new, full-length, two-and-a-half minute trailer debuts in a special unprecedented "road block" across Viacom Inc. 's brands and on the CBS Television Network on Nov. 9, at approximately 10:00 pm. SPIDER-MAN 3, starring Tobey Maguire and directed by Sam Raimi, kicks off next summer's moviegoing season on May 4, 2007.

The television networks airing the new trailer include BET, CBS, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV, MTV2, Spike TV and VH1, with each supporting the event with custom promotions both on-air and online. A total of 14 online destinations from Viacom's networks are supporting the airing of the trailer, including AddictingGames.com, AddictingClips.com, BET.com, MTV.com, IFILM.com, Nick.com, ComedyCentral.com, GameTrailers.com, LOGOonline.com, Neopets.com, SpikeTV.com, The-N.com, VH1.com and Xfire.com.

I heard about this months ago. The speculation then was after the incident where Uncle Ben got shot, Flint and the guy freak out - Flint goes his way, the muscle goes his.

Damn watching the trailer in HD is much better. Things that I would complain about from the iFilm one go away in HD. The symbiote looks much better here

Sandman killing Uncle Ben is the same sort of Hollywood dumbass forced script/plot symmetry that had the Joker killing Bruce Wayne's parents.

I thought it was; it didn't feel forced, as this does (mainly because it comes after a sequel; if this happened in Spiderman 2 I'd be far more forgiving). Nicholson did a great job in the movie. You've got to remember that at the end of the day, that movie was Tim Burton's Batman. Very few comic nerds have problems with what he did though

And over at Gaf, they are ripping apart the trailer. As per expected. Anyways, I loved it. There could be some more work done to the cg and the sandman thing is probably a red herring. No way will Raimi, who loves the comic, would let Clint kill ben
