Aye - I dont make the daily "what did you buy?" threads anymore - they were odd :/.
What retail titles did you buy this week? I dont consider D/L games or add on content part of the haul ya kno -
I started of with this on an impulse buy. I liked it on the X360 and I have seen shooter fans prop it.
I think its >OK< - not really much else on to warrant the disk IMO - I also prefer the 2 stick gameplay to the stick and pointer gameplay - it works well in Alien Syndrome Wii for me but not here. Perhaps I should leave the pointer on but turn the laser signt off.....
If I could actually visually track the pointer without the laser id like it more.
Mid-week I picked up R-type commande. I have played around 7 missions now and I LOVE IT. I need to find a local friend who wants to play it so I can try some VS. I am finding the Bydo to be easy if I send out ships and then dock them in waves. The Neutral bases help allot. This is the most charming 2D TBS yet.
its not just R-TYPE units on a map...its 2D units playing on a 2D SHUMP stage divided into hex spaces. Parts of the stages are destructible etc.....imagine 3 screen segments of an R-type game stage converted into a MAP.
Lastly I decided to buy GTA Collection for PSOne.
GTA, GTA London and GTA2. I have never played these - I own every other game in the series, may as well try this. It will be a while before I get to it - trying to finish GTA IV.
Next week I hope to find;
- SNK Arcade Classics Vol 1
- Castle of Shikigami (Wii edition - but ultra annoyed there is not a PS2 edition)
