I'm totally trying to Recover 60GBs worth of personal Pictures, Music and PORN

A couple of weeks ago, my fucking 250GB Seagate External HDD hit the shitbed. I then proceeded to rip it apart to fix it and find out that the thing is just fubared (crashes when it gets hot enough). Now, here I am, trying to extract stuff. Fortunately I'll be able to retain my Pictures and Music files but most importantly all my Carmela Bing porn

Also, big ups to Easy Recovery Professional. This shit is working like its advertised (the HDD is essentially being read without a file system, its currenly RAW). Good stuff

Blue: take the HDD, put it in plastic baggy, then surround it with ice while you do your work

Yeah, I've read about the Ice Trick. Fortunately I was able to grab a good amount of the data without having to do that. But to get the rest I'm going to try and keep it as cool as possible.

Backups? I hope so.

I've tested the stability of some of the files though and it works fine. I'm sure I'll run into a couple of bad one though. This'll teach me to rely on a single HDD for all of my data . Fortunately I kept all my Photography RAW files on another HDD.
